Orthopedic Physical Therapist - Full-Time Opportunity

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and licensed Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team at Saddle Mind Rehab & Wellness Center located in Toms River, New Jersey. In this full-time role, you will play an essential part in empowering patients to regain their mobility and improve their quality of life through expert rehabilitation services. This position offers a competitive salary in the range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, along with comprehensive benefits.

Our 5,000 square-foot facility is designed for optimal therapeutic outcomes, featuring advanced sports medicine equipment and treatment spaces. We primarily serve patients with private medical insurance, ensuring they receive the best possible interventions tailored to their individual needs.

Work Environment

Our facility fosters a collaborative and supportive work culture, where our team consists of two experienced physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant (PTA). Here, we emphasize continuous learning, professional development, and teamwork. The vibrant environment allows therapists to share knowledge and best practices while providing top-tier patient care. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, which supports a healthy work-life balance for our employees.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify patient needs and establish individualized treatment objectives.
• Implement and manage a patient caseload efficiently, averaging one patient per hour, ensuring timely and effective care.
• Develop customized care plans that incorporate diverse treatment modalities, focusing on promotion, prevention, diagnosis, and rehabilitation.
• Provide evidence-based interventions that enhance patient mobility, reduce the need for medications, and offer alternatives to surgical procedures.
• Monitor patient progress rigorously, assessing the effectiveness of treatments and adjusting care plans as needed.
• Document services and progress systematically to ensure continuity of care and compliance with healthcare standards.
• Motivate and encourage patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, addressing individual concerns and celebrating their successes.
• Promote overall wellness by implementing fitness and lifestyle programs tailored to individual patient needs.
• Collaborate with fellow healthcare professionals to refine treatment strategies and foster a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse patient population, primarily focusing on individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries or surgeries. Our patients may include athletes, active adults, and seniors seeking to regain their independence and mobility. Understanding the unique challenges faced by various age groups and activity levels is vital to effectively tailor rehabilitation programs.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or higher (preferably a Doctorate in Physical Therapy).
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of New Jersey.
• A clean professional record without any board actions or disciplinary measures.
• Expertise in manual therapy techniques and a strong background in orthopedic outpatient settings.
• Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) software, preferably WebPT or similar platforms.

Preferred Experience

• Demonstrated history of developing and executing effective exercise regimens tailored to individual patient goals.
• Prior experience in an outpatient orthopedic practice with success in achieving positive patient outcomes.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a passion for patient-centered care.
