Physical Therapist Full Time Rehab Clinic

Position Overview We are looking for a dedicated and licensed Physical Therapist to join our team at Fairview East Healthcare and Behavioral Center, located in Toms River, New Jersey. Our clinic, a state-of-the-art 5000 square foot facility, is designed to offer comprehensive physical therapy services tailored specifically for our patients, mainly covered by private medical insurance. Located in Toms River, NJ, our rehabilitation facility provides an onsite work setting where teamwork and collaboration thrive. The team currently comprises two physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant (PTA). The working atmosphere is dynamic and supportive, allowing for shared knowledge and professional development. You will be working Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, in a structured environment that values both productivity and patient interaction.

In this role, you will be entrusted with a variety of responsibilities that are crucial to delivering exceptional care to our patients. Managing a consistent patient load, averaging one patient per hour, allowing for personalized care.

Utilizing advanced manual therapy techniques to enhance patient outcomes and reduce the necessity of medications or surgical interventions.

Monitoring patient progress, modifying treatment protocols as necessary, and maintaining accurate documentation in accordance with healthcare regulations.

Engaging in interdisciplinary collaboration with other healthcare professionals to evaluate treatment efficacy and optimize patient care.

Our center primarily serves patients dealing with orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical recovery, sports injuries, and chronic pain syndromes. You will have the opportunity to interact and build rapport with a diverse client base, enabling you to apply specialized knowledge to help improve their quality of life through rehabilitative strategies.

A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is highly preferred.

Current certification as a licensed Physical Therapist in the state of New Jersey.

Demonstrated expertise in manual therapy techniques is essential.

To excel in this role, prior experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting is preferred. Candidates should be proficient in developing and implementing exercise regimens tailored to individual patient needs and comfortable utilizing Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software, such as WebPT, to streamline clinical documentation.
