Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine their specific needs and establish a baseline for developing custom care plans.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment programs aimed at achieving rehabilitative and wellness goals, ensuring alignment with physician protocols and the latest evidence-based practices.
• Provide hands-on therapeutic interventions including manual therapy techniques, modalities, and functional training designed to restore function, reduce pain, and improve mobility.
• Demonstrate and instruct patients and their families in therapeutic exercises and the use of assistive devices to enhance recovery outside of therapy sessions.
• Maintain accurate documentation of treatment plans, patient progress, and ongoing assessments in compliance with state regulations and facility standards.
• Coordinate with a multidisciplinary team, including doctors and nursing staff, to ensure continuity of care and adapt treatment plans based on patient feedback and progress.
• Prioritize daily caseload management to ensure all patients receive timely attention and appropriate care interventions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse patient population, including both adults and children dealing with a wide range of conditions such as post-operative rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain disorders. Your efforts will directly contribute to enhancing their functional independence, improving their overall health outcomes, and helping them return to their daily activities with confidence.

Qualifications

• A valid New Jersey Physical Therapy License.
• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) Degree from an accredited institution.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification to be obtained within 30 days of the start date.

Preferred Experience

• While no prior experience is required, candidates with previous internships, rotations, or work experience in outpatient or inpatient settings are preferred.
• Experience with pediatric or geriatric populations is a plus.

Stay Physical Therapy offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, complemented by a robust benefits package.
