We predominantly serve individuals with private medical insurance, offering a range of services that emphasize personalized treatment plans and holistic rehabilitation strategies.

Work Environment

The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative outpatient setting that champions access to advanced therapeutic practices. You will be working alongside two physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA) in a warm, supportive environment where teamwork and communication are integral to patient success. Our standard operational hours are Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, ensuring a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute individualized treatment plans based on thorough assessments, evaluating each patient's unique goals and healthcare needs.
• Manage an efficient caseload, focusing on one patient per hour to ensure personalized attention and high-quality care.
• Implement cost-effective, evidence-based treatment modalities that aim to restore mobility and function while minimizing reliance on medications and invasive procedures.
• Utilize a range of advanced manual therapy techniques to alleviate pain and facilitate recovery.
• Create tailored fitness and wellness programs designed to improve strength, flexibility, balance, and overall health outcomes for patients.
• Regularly assess and document treatment outcomes, maintaining precise records of patient care in our EMR software, particularly WebPT.
• Motivate and educate patients throughout their rehabilitation process, instilling a sense of empowerment and encouraging a healthy lifestyle.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient management and support effective treatment transitions.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in physical therapy practices and integrate relevant techniques into patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patients you will serve at TheraSense primarily consist of individuals receiving orthopedic rehabilitation. This includes individuals recovering from sports injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, and those suffering from musculoskeletal disorders. Your expertise will play a pivotal role in helping these patients regain mobility, enhance performance, and achieve long-term health goals.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required for this position.
• Current and valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• Exemplary professional record demonstrating no history of board or disciplinary actions.
• Competent in manual therapy techniques and familiar with orthopedic assessment protocols.
• Strong skills in developing and implementing comprehensive exercise protocols for various populations.
• Proficient in the use of electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Expertise in working with diverse patient populations and adapting treatment methodologies accordingly.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient engagement and collaboration with healthcare teams.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for the Physical Therapist position ranges from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, supplemented with a robust benefits package that includes healthcare coverage, paid time off, continuing education reimbursement, and retirement savings options.
