Work Environment

This is an onsite role where you will primarily provide home care services, working directly within the community of Toms River. You will collaborate with a supportive team of healthcare professionals, including nurses, physicians, and other therapists, ensuring a comprehensive approach to each patient's care. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical abilities and limitations to develop a tailored treatment plan.
• Deliver high-quality orthopedic physical therapy services to patients of varying ages and conditions.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques and practices to enhance patient outcomes, including manual therapy, exercise prescription, and modalities such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation.
• Monitor and document patient progress, modifying treatment plans as necessary to ensure the achievement of rehabilitation goals.
• Provide education and counseling to patients and their families on injury prevention, rehabilitation processes, and home exercise programs.
• Engage in team meetings to discuss patient progress and collaborate on care strategies, contributing input to enhance multidisciplinary approaches.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist with Sutter Physical Therapy, Inc., you will be working primarily with individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Your expertise will guide patients through rehabilitation processes, often involving tailored exercises and recovery techniques to improve mobility, strength, and functional independence. You will focus on returning clients to their most productive and healthy states of life.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• Current active state licensure or certification to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• A strong foundation in orthopedic physical therapy practices and principles.
• Excellent clinical assessment skills, with the ability to analyze complex patient situations and devise effective treatment strategies.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and collaborate with healthcare team members.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of clinical experience in orthopedic physical therapy is highly preferred.
• Experience working in home care or a community-based setting would be advantageous.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and documentation standards.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 110,000 to 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
