Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to develop tailored care plans that encompass a variety of treatment techniques, ensuring each client receives effective, evidence-based care.
• Implement individualized exercise regimens designed to improve clients' strength, flexibility, balance, and overall function.
• Employ manual therapy techniques and other modalities to enhance rehabilitation outcomes and minimize reliance on medications or surgical interventions.
• Monitor and motivate patients throughout their treatment journey, providing encouragement and adjustments to their care plans as necessary to maximize functional recovery.
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of all services rendered, adhering to compliance standards while tracking patient progress and treatment efficacy.
• Engage with patients to educate them on the importance of a healthy lifestyle, supporting them in embracing wellness beyond rehabilitation.
• Actively participate in team meetings, sharing insights and strategies to improve patient care and organizational efficiency.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position primarily serves orthopedic patients, including those recovering from surgeries, injuries, or managing chronic conditions. You will work closely with a diverse population, from athletes to seniors, each requiring specialized care plans and treatment approaches that respect their individual circumstances and goals.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required; applicants with a Master's degree or Doctorate (DPT) qualification will be preferred.
• Must possess a valid License as a Physical Therapist.
• Maintain a clean professional record with no board actions or disciplinary measures against the license.
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in physical therapy is essential.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the development of comprehensive exercise programs.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in a home health care setting is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with current therapeutic modalities and state-of-the-art rehabilitation equipment.
