Work Environment

This role is based in a home care setting, allowing you to deliver therapy directly to patients in their residences. You'll have the flexibility to create personalized therapy plans and work in a comforting environment that can significantly enhance patient engagement and recovery. The position supports a Monday-to-Friday schedule from 8 AM to 5 PM, enabling a healthy work-life balance while you focus on being a catalyst for patient rehabilitation.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess patients' physical function, taking into account their medical history and presenting issues.
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to individual needs, utilizing modalities such as therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and patient education.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment outcomes accurately, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and demonstrating the progress made towards established goals.
• Maintain ongoing communication with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians and rehabilitation specialists, to modify treatment plans as necessary based on patient progress.
• Participate in and contribute to team meetings aimed at sharing insights and strategies for patient care improvement.
• Adhere to all state and federal regulations pertaining to therapeutic practices while fulfilling corporate training requirements.
• Maintain empathy and professionalism in all interactions with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice focuses primarily on orthopedic patients who require physical therapy to recover from surgeries, injuries, and chronic conditions. This includes individuals recovering from joint replacements, sports injuries, and other musculoskeletal disorders. Your role as a Physical Therapist will be crucial in guiding these patients towards recovery, enhancing their functional capacity, and improving their overall well-being.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Must possess a valid physical therapy license in the state of New Jersey.
• Current CPR certification is essential to ensure you are prepared for any emergency situations.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of experience in orthopedic physical therapy is highly preferred, providing you with the skills necessary to support our patient population effectively.
• Experience in home care or outpatient settings is advantageous, as it equips you with the tools to adapt treatment plans in various environments.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
