Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluations to assess patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans in accordance with physician referrals.
• Administer therapeutic interventions using various procedures and techniques aimed at enhancing the patients' functional capabilities.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes, ensuring that care strategies are driven by the latest research and clinical best practices.
• Educate patients and their caregivers on therapeutic exercises, preventive care, and rehabilitation strategies to promote sustained recovery.
• Document patient progress, maintain accurate records, and communicate effectively with healthcare stakeholders to track treatment milestones.
• Exceed minimum utilization goals and contribute to the clinic's overall effectiveness through superior customer service.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, pediatric patients with developmental challenges, neurologic conditions, and athletes engaging in sports medicine rehabilitation. Your expertise will be crucial in helping patients regain their independence and improve their quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Current valid license to practice physical therapy in the state of New Jersey.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, paired with proficient computer skills.

Preferred Experience

We value candidates with at least 2 years of experience in the field, especially those who have worked in diverse healthcare settings. Familiarity with evidence-based practices and advanced therapeutic techniques is highly desirable, rewarding thoughtful approaches to patient care.

Compensation and Benefits
