Work Environment

This role is centered around providing onsite therapy services within clients' homes, emphasizing a comfortable and familiar setting for treatment. Key Responsibilities

• Direct physical therapy interventions to alleviate pain, facilitate rehabilitation, and enhance patient's mobility through state-specific techniques and modalities.
• Evaluate patients' functional capabilities through comprehensive diagnostics and assessments, including tests of muscle strength, joint functionality, and overall physical health.
• Supervise and mentor Physical Therapy Assistants to ensure the effective implementation of treatment plans in accordance with established protocols.
• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' home environments to provide tailored recommendations that maximize independence and safety.
• Administer both manual and non-manual therapeutic exercises, while educating clients on the effective use of physical therapy devices and fostering adherence to care plans.
• Maintain diligent clinical documentation, including initial evaluations, treatment progress notes, and discharge summaries, to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Participate actively in interdisciplinary case conferences to collaboratively develop and refine comprehensive treatment strategies.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to address concerns, provide updates, and suggest modifications to care plans as needed.
• Adhere to protocols for clinical and payroll documentation, ensuring timely submission in accordance with organizational policies.
• Engage in continual professional development and training to stay abreast of industry advancements and best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program with a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy.
