Key Responsibilities

• Direct and implement comprehensive physical therapy treatment plans aimed at preventing disability, alleviating pain, and restoring optimal function for each patient.
• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' functional levels through physical assessments, diagnostic testing of muscle, nerve, and joint function.
• Oversee and mentor Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs), ensuring the effective delivery of prescribed treatment plans within regulatory standards.
• Administer manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and physical agents as indicated to facilitate patient recovery.
• Evaluate and adapt home environments for rehabilitation suitability, making evidence-based recommendations to enhance clients' independence.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop, evaluate, and modify care plans based on monitoring patient progress and feedback from clients and families.
• Maintain comprehensive clinical documentation, including initial evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries that reflect each client's care journey.
• Engage in regular case conferences to discuss treatment effectiveness and make adjustments to care plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
• Consult with patients and their families on the use and maintenance of therapeutic devices as part of their broader rehabilitation strategy.
• Participate actively in professional development activities, including updating knowledge of best practices and treatment modalities within physical therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work primarily with individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Your expertise will be critical in assisting patients of various age groups, each requiring customized treatment plans to achieve their rehabilitation goals. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required.
• Current Physical Therapy license in good standing in New Jersey.
• At least one year of experience in a physical therapy role, preferably within a rehabilitation or home care setting.
• Current CPR certification.
• Strong analytical skills for evaluating and adjusting care plans based on patient progress.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on collaborative patient engagement.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
