We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team at Progressive Care Physical Therapy located in Freehold, New Jersey. Work Environment

Your work will take place onsite in a state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility designed for optimal patient care and recovery. The facility is equipped with advanced therapeutic modalities and tools that facilitate a comprehensive rehabilitation experience. We operate Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, and our outpatient clinic welcomes a steady influx of patients seeking orthopedic rehabilitation.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individualized care for patients based on their unique needs, ensuring tailored treatment plans that facilitate effective rehabilitation outcomes.
• Manage a reasonable patient caseload, allowing for dedicated time to assess and devise appropriate treatment strategies for each individual.
• Employ advanced orthopedic physical therapy techniques to enhance patient mobility and physical function through customized exercise regimens and manual therapy modalities.
• Focus on promoting non-surgical treatment alternatives, minimizing reliance on pharmacological interventions and enhancing recovery through holistic approaches.
• Develop comprehensive care plans that integrate various therapeutic techniques aimed at achieving optimal results in motion and performance.
• Create personalized fitness and wellness programs that cater to the specific goals of each patient, resulting in improved strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Conduct ongoing assessments to monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to meet evolving patient needs.
• Document all services accurately using EMR software, particularly Web PT, to ensure thorough records of treatment sessions and progress notes.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, fostering a cohesive approach to patient care and outcomes.
• Inspire and motivate individuals throughout their rehabilitation journey, contributing positively to their mental and emotional well-being.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of this role is on orthopedic patients requiring rehabilitation following surgical procedures, sports injuries, or chronic pain conditions. Our patient population is diverse, including adolescent athletes, adults, and seniors, all of whom seek to regain their independence and improve their functional capabilities.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution is required.
• An active Physical Therapist license in New Jersey with a clean record and no history of sanctions or board proceedings.
• Demonstrated expertise in a variety of manual therapy techniques and rehabilitation modalities.
• Exceptional skill in developing and implementing effective exercise programs tailored to patient needs.
• Familiarity with using EMR software for precise documentation and patient record management.
• A commitment to staying updated with the latest physical therapy techniques supported by current research and clinical guidelines.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation setting is preferred.
• Strong understanding of sports medicine practices is a plus.
• Experience working with diverse populations and managing a variety of orthopedic conditions.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is competitive, ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
