Work Environment

This position is onsite, allowing you to interact closely with your patients within our welcoming clinic environment. As part of a collaborative team which includes two licensed physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA), you will be surrounded by professionals who share your dedication to advancing patient care and improving clinical outcomes. The work schedule for this role is Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and address the individual goals and needs of patients during therapy sessions.
• Manage a patient load of one individual per hour, ensuring focused and personalized care.
• Deliver cost-effective treatment plans that enhance client mobility and reduce the necessity for surgical interventions.
• Develop comprehensive care plans incorporating diverse treatment techniques tailored to each patient.
• Implement fitness and wellness programs that promote robust health and recovery aligned with patient objectives.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques effectively as a part of treatment protocols.
• Continuously evaluate treatment effects, document progress accurately, and maintain thorough patient records.
• Build strong relationships with patients, motivating them throughout their treatment process.
• Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive patient care.
• Promote healthy lifestyle choices by enhancing patients' strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination through evidence-based interventions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on patients recovering from orthopedic conditions, including those dealing with post-surgery rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain. Your expertise will be vital in guiding these individuals as they engage in their recovery and strive to achieve their peak performance levels. By addressing each patient holistically, you will play a crucial role in enhancing their quality of life through personalized, compassionate care.

Qualifications

• A completed Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• An active Physical Therapist license in the state of New Jersey, free from any disciplinary actions.
• Exceptional manual therapy skills and a strong proficiency in designing and executing effective exercise programs.
• Working knowledge of Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills that foster strong patient relationships and teamwork.

Preferred Experience

We are seeking candidates with a minimum of 2 years of experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting. Experience with EMR software usage is a plus, as is any specialization in manual therapy techniques. We highly value candidates who can demonstrate a history of successful patient outcomes through effective treatment planning and execution.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to USD 120,000, commensurate with experience.
