Work Environment

Our rehabilitation facility in Freehold is designed to promote healing and recovery. The center features cutting-edge equipment and an expansive 5000 square feet of clinical space, providing a well-equipped environment for innovative treatment strategies. You will join a collaborative team consisting of two experienced physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA), ensuring a well-rounded and supportive atmosphere for both patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to identify their needs and establish effective, individualized treatment plans.
• Maintain a manageable patient load, treating one patient per hour to ensure focused, personalized care.
• Implement evidence-based therapy techniques that enhance patients' range of motion and mobility, while minimizing reliance on medications.
• Design and oversee tailored fitness and wellness programs that cater to the specific rehabilitation goals of each patient.
• Use a variety of therapeutic modalities and manual therapy techniques to maximize recovery and functionality.
• Foster strong patient relationships by motivating and encouraging them throughout their treatment process.
• Regularly assess patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary, and maintain accurate, detailed documentation of care provided.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians and other healthcare professionals, to create a coordinated approach to patient rehabilitation.
• Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) software, such as WebPT, for efficient documentation and tracking of treatment outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our facility primarily caters to patients with private medical insurance, focusing on orthopedic conditions and injuries. You will work with a diverse patient demographic, ranging from post-surgical recovery cases to sports injury rehabilitation. Your expertise will guide patients in their rehabilitation journey, enabling them to return to their optimal performance levels.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Current license as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey, with no history of board or disciplinary actions.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy and a solid understanding of exercise program design and implementation.
• Familiarity with EMR systems, specifically WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of direct experience working as a Physical Therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting is preferred.
• Experience with diverse therapeutic modalities and patient assessment methods.
