This pivotal role involves enhancing patients' mobility and quality of life through effective physical therapy interventions in an outpatient setting. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with a small team of healthcare professionals to provide high-quality, evidence-based care for individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries and surgeries.

Work Environment

At our Rehabilitation Center, you will work onsite in a vibrant community setting, collaborating with two experienced physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA). The center operates Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a predictable schedule that enables a balanced work-life dynamic. Here, you will lead therapy sessions, engage with patients one-on-one, and utilize our cutting-edge facilities to create impactful rehabilitation experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and understand individual patient needs, crafting personalized treatment plans aimed at achieving their rehabilitation goals.
• Maintain an effective patient load of one individual per hour, allowing for adequate personal attention and optimal treatment.
• Utilize advanced manual therapy techniques and exercise programs to enhance patients' range of motion and mobility.
• Implement cost-effective therapies that reduce reliance on medications and promote non-surgical alternatives whenever possible.
• Motivate patients throughout their recovery journey, fostering a collaborative spirit that drives engagement and progress toward their rehabilitation objectives.
• Document and communicate patient progress meticulously, ensuring continuity of care and adherence to treatment protocols.
• Continuously evaluate patient outcomes and adjust treatment strategies to guarantee the best possible results.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our Rehabilitation Center primarily serves clients with private medical insurance, focusing on patients experiencing orthopedic conditions and those recovering from surgeries. We provide therapeutic interventions that address diverse musculoskeletal issues, allowing patients to regain functionality and improve their overall quality of life. Your role will help shape their recovery stories, guiding them from initial assessments to successful rehabilitation.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Active and valid license as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• A clean record with no board or disciplinary actions related to your professional license.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and experience in designing tailored exercise programs.
• Experience with EMR software, specifically WebPT, is preferred.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist, particularly in orthopedic outpatient settings.
• Demonstrated success in developing and implementing patient-centric treatment plans that foster recovery and enhance mobility.
• Experience with a hands-on approach in engaging patients through innovative therapy methods.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive annual salary range of USD 130,000 to 140,000, reflecting your experience and commitment to patient care.
