Work Environment

The Physical Therapist will work onsite in our modern rehabilitation facility located in Old Bridge, NJ. The facility is equipped with state-of-the-art technology designed to enhance the therapeutic process. You'll collaborate closely with a team of healthcare professionals in a supportive atmosphere that encourages continuous learning and development. Our typical working hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to determine their physical therapy needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement and assess treatment protocols tailored to each patient's condition, ensuring to adapt as necessary based on their progress and response to therapy.
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members, including physicians and other healthcare providers, to enhance patient care and ensure the continuity of treatment.
• Educate patients and their families on physical therapy strategies that promote recovery and prevent injury, providing guidance on exercises and care routines at home.
• Monitor and record changes in patient conditions that necessitate adjustments to the treatment plan or additional consultations.
• Participate in ongoing staff training and development programs to stay current with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Engage in facility meetings and contribute to discussions focused on enhancing service delivery and patient access.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with individuals seeking rehabilitation from orthopedic injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, and sports-related conditions. Our patient population varies in age and activity level, providing you with diverse clinical scenarios that will enrich your professional expertise. The focus is on restoring functionality and promoting overall wellness, making your role crucial in fostering meaningful patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program is required.
• A valid physical therapy license issued in the state of New Jersey.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of outpatient orthopedic experience is required.
• Current CPR certification is necessary to ensure patient safety and emergency readiness.

Compensation and Benefits
