Work Environment

The Physical Therapist will work onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation center in Old Bridge, NJ. Our facility is designed with patient comfort and therapy effectiveness in mind, featuring advanced equipment and therapy tools. The organized team environment promotes collaboration among practitioners, aiding in the comprehensive care of each patient. You will work a full-time schedule, Monday to Friday, for 40 hours a week.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians and develop tailored treatment plans to address individual needs.
• Implement therapeutic regimens utilizing evidence-based practices, ensuring compliance with each patient's physician-directed plan of care.
• Utilize a variety of treatment modalities and techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and modalities for pain relief and functional enhancement.
• Educate patients and their families about recovery processes, treatment goals, and home exercise programs to accelerate recovery and enhance long-term wellness.
• Consistently track patient progress and adjust therapy plans as needed, documenting outcomes to provide a measurable record of care improvements.
• Engage actively with multidisciplinary teams, contributing insights and feedback to enhance patient outcomes and streamline operational effectiveness.
• Meet established utilization targets and contribute to organizational objectives through positive patient engagement and excellent customer service.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our therapy practice treats a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgery, sports-related injuries, neurological conditions, and pediatric rehabilitation needs. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is mandatory.
• A valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey is required.
• Completion of an APTA or CAPTE-accredited physical therapy program is essential.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association is necessary.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with patients and their families.
• Proficiency in word processing and computer applications relevant to patient care documentation.
• A commitment to establishing rapport with patients and a genuine desire to see them exceed their functional goals.

Preferred Experience

At least two years of clinical experience in various aspects of physical therapy is strongly preferred. Experience working in specialized areas such as pediatrics, sports medicine, or neurological rehabilitation will give you an edge in this role.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
