Work Environment

Our Highland Park Rehabilitation Center operates in a collaborative and fast-paced environment, prioritizing patient-centered care. As a full-time Physical Therapist, you will engage directly with patients in an onsite setting, working Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. This schedule fosters a balanced work-life dynamic while ensuring the highest level of care and attention for our patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to develop individualized treatment plans based on their specific needs and functional limitations.
• Implement evidence-based treatment protocols aligned with the patient's progress and evolving healthcare needs.
• Perform thorough documentation including initial evaluations, evaluation updates, discharge summaries, and progress reports to ensure clarity of the patient's treatment journey.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to address patient concerns, coordinate care, and modify treatment plans as necessary.
• Participate in ongoing training programs to maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations while exceeding clinical excellence standards.
• Engage in facility meetings and contribute to the improvement of patient care processes, particularly in enhancing access and engagement in rehabilitation services.
• Develop and execute effective discharge planning strategies to ensure continuity of care after treatment ends.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse population of patients recovering from various orthopedic issues, including post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain management. Our patient-centered philosophy focuses on understanding the unique needs of each individual, allowing us to tailor our interventions effectively. Qualifications

• A Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited physical therapy program.
• A valid physical therapy license in the State of New Jersey or eligibility for licensure.
• A minimum of two years of outpatient orthopedic experience required.
• Current CPR certification is mandatory.

Preferred Experience

Experience working in a multi-disciplinary team setting, familiarity with electronic medical records, and proficiency in developing treatment plans utilizing various therapeutic modalities will be an advantage.
