Work Environment

The role is performed onsite at our outpatient facility in Metuchen, New Jersey, where you will be part of a collaborative team of healthcare professionals. Key Responsibilities

• The Physical Therapist will be responsible for conducting thorough assessments of patients to develop and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at maximizing mobility, reducing pain, and improving overall function.
• You will direct and oversee all aspects of the patient's physical therapy journey, ensuring consistency and quality of care throughout the process.
• Regularly evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to align with recovery goals.
• Instruct patients, their families, and caregivers on effective therapeutic exercises and the use of any necessary equipment, ensuring they are well-informed for continued care outside therapy sessions.
• Collaborate closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals as part of an interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and updated records utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) software such as WebPT for seamless documentation and communication.
• Prioritize caseload and manage daily staffing needs to ensure all patients receive timely and efficient care.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) Degree from an accredited program, demonstrating your commitment to providing high-quality care.
