Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians, establishing precise treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
• Implement treatment protocols for various patient types, including orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine, ensuring diverse therapeutic approaches.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient recovery by maximizing outcomes through evidence-based practices.
• Provide therapeutic care in both our facility and when necessary, consult patients at home, applying specific techniques to promote functional improvements as detailed in the physician's care plan.
• Educate and empower patients and their caregivers through consultations and training sessions that foster understanding and adherence to their rehabilitation protocols.
• Exceed minimum utilization and productivity goals while contributing to the overall effectiveness and service excellence of the practice.
• Demonstrate exemplary customer service and communication skills in all interactions with patients, families, and colleagues.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Orthopedic Physical Therapist will primarily focus on a varied patient population dealing with orthopedic conditions, sports-related injuries, and recovery from surgeries. You will work closely with patients of all ages, utilizing tailored rehabilitation programs to address individual challenges, foster recovery, and restore functional ability. Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid state licensure to practice physical therapy in New Jersey.
• A minimum of two years' clinical experience as a physical therapist, preferably in orthopedic care.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in using electronic medical records and relevant technology.
