Work Environment

This position is primarily carried out in the homes of our patients, offering a unique opportunity for therapists to provide personalized care in a familiar and comfortable setting. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of each patient's physical capabilities and limitations, taking into account their specific orthopedic conditions.
• Create and implement personalized treatment plans focusing on improving mobility, reducing pain, and enhancing overall functionality through targeted therapies including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and the use of specialized equipment.
• Document all patient interactions meticulously, tracking progress and making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to ensure optimal recovery.
• Educate patients and their caregivers on exercise regimens, proper use of assistive devices, and strategies to prevent further injury.
• Engage in regular training sessions and workshops to stay current with industry advancements, techniques, and best practices.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including occupational therapists and rehabilitation specialists, to provide holistic patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on patients recovering from orthopedic injuries and surgeries, including but not limited to joint replacements, fractures, and sports-related injuries. We emphasize providing care that respects each patient's individual needs and promotes an active and fulfilling lifestyle. Our therapists are well-equipped to adapt treatments to differing age groups, from young athletes to older adults, enhancing recovery and functionality.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensing as a Physical Therapist.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and families.
• Proficiency in documentation and familiarity with electronic health record systems.
• A highly adaptable and positive attitude, with the ability to work effectively in a home care environment.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in home healthcare or outpatient settings is a plus but not required.

Compensation and Benefits
