Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of each client's physical condition, including muscle strength, joint function, and overall physical capability, to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
• Direct all aspects of orthopedic physical therapy treatment to prevent disability and relieve pain, aiming to restore maximum muscle function and enhance performance within the client's capabilities.
• Supervise physical therapy assistants to ensure appropriate implementation of established care plans and promote best practices in patient management.
• Administer and supervise therapeutic exercises, demonstrating techniques and encouraging adherence to individualized exercise plans, both manual and non-manual.
• Evaluate home environments and recommend adaptive equipment or modifications that foster independence and safety, helping clients achieve their personal rehabilitation goals.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment effectiveness, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to adjust plans as necessary.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clientele primarily consists of orthopedic patients recovering from surgeries, injuries, or conditions affecting their physical mobility. You will work closely with individuals of varying ages, from young adults to seniors, who require tailored rehabilitation programs aimed at restoring function and improving their quality of life. Qualifications

• A Master's degree or Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license to practice as a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) in New Jersey, confirming adherence to the standards set by the Physical Therapy Examining Committee.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in orthopedic physical therapy, demonstrating a solid foundation in patient assessment and treatment modalities.
• Current CPR Certification to ensure safety and preparedness in emergency situations.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working in a rehabilitation center or similar clinical setting, focusing on orthopedic conditions.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 110,000 to 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
