Work Environment

The position is located onsite at our vibrant rehabilitation center in Jackson, New Jersey, where you will engage daily with an enthusiastic team of healthcare professionals. Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will take on numerous responsibilities tailored to support the recovery and rehabilitation of our diverse patient population. Primary duties include:

• Assessing patients' physical conditions to identify their needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implementing targeted therapeutic interventions aimed at restoring mobility and diminishing pain linked to orthopedic conditions.
• Utilizing various treatment modalities, including manual therapy and exercise programs, to optimize the rehabilitation process.
• Educating patients about their treatment plans, functional exercises, and preventative care to enhance their overall wellness and prevent future injuries.
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, such as orthopedic surgeons and occupational therapists, to coordinate comprehensive care plans.
• Documenting patient progress and outcomes meticulously, ensuring that treatment adjustments are informed by measurable results.
• Encouraging and motivating patients to adopt and maintain a healthier lifestyle through strength building, flexibility training, and balance improvement.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our center serves a wide range of patients, primarily those recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, or chronic musculoskeletal conditions. You will work closely with individuals of all ages, from young athletes to elderly clients, all of whom are seeking to regain functional independence and improve their quality of life. This role requires an understanding of various orthopedic conditions and the ability to customize treatment plans effectively.

Qualifications

To qualify for this role, candidates should possess:

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• An active state license as a Physical Therapist, demonstrating your professional commitment and legal ability to practice.
• A minimum of two years of hands-on experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting, showcasing your expertise in this specialized area.
• An unblemished professional record without any disciplinary actions against your license.

Compensation and Benefits
