Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations by reviewing patient histories, performing specific assessments, and creating detailed recommendations based on evidence-based practices.
• Clearly communicate evaluation findings and develop personalized treatment plans in collaboration with patients and their families, ensuring that their individual goals are incorporated.
• Implement treatment protocols effectively, tailored to the initial evaluation results, ongoing assessments, and the evolving needs of the healthcare landscape.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, consulting with other healthcare professionals as needed and adjusting care plans to reflect changes in patient conditions.
• Manage discharge planning efficiently, ensuring that the patient transition is smooth and that follow-up care is clearly outlined with accurate and timely documentation.
• Exhibit strong organizational skills by managing schedules, maintaining productivity standards, and being punctual for all meetings and patient appointments.
• Engage in departmental goals and objectives, complying with all governmental and accreditation standards to enhance the quality of care.
• Actively participate in professional development and continuing education, guiding students as a clinical instructor to foster the next generation of physical therapists.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our facility serves a diverse patient population, primarily focusing on orthopedic rehabilitation for individuals recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic pain conditions. Qualifications

• Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure as a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) by the Physical Therapy Examining Committee of New Jersey.
• A minimum of two years of relevant experience in orthopedic physical therapy.
• Valid CPR certification to ensure patient safety and first aid readiness.

Preferred Experience
