We are seeking a dedicated full-time Orthopedic Physical Therapist to enhance the lives of our patients at Lakeportside Mind Rehab & Wellness Center, located in Toms River, New Jersey. In this pivotal role, you will work closely with individuals rehabilitating from orthopedic injuries, helping them to regain mobility, strength, and independence in a supportive and professional environment.

Our clinic spans 5,000 square feet and is equipped with advanced sports medicine technology and treatment tools. Work Environment

The center boasts a collaborative and encouraging environment, composed of a close-knit team of two physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA). You will be working in an onsite setting, fostering direct and meaningful interactions with both your colleagues and patients during regular business hours, Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM. Our clinic caters primarily to privately insured patients, offering tailored solutions that prioritize patient outcomes and well-being.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify their specific goals and treatment needs, ensuring that customized care plans are established.
• Deliver effective treatment sessions, maintaining a manageable caseload of one patient per hour, which allows for in-depth care focused on recovery and rehabilitation.
• Utilize a variety of evidence-based therapy practices, including manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercise prescriptions, that foster improvements in motion, strength, and flexibility.
• Develop and execute comprehensive care plans informed by ongoing assessments and evaluations to optimize treatment effectiveness throughout the rehab journey.
• Motivate and encourage patients to actively engage in their rehabilitation process, providing education on alternative therapeutic approaches to maximize function while potentially minimizing medication and surgical interventions.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care, maximizing the efficacy of patient treatment.
• Thoroughly document all patient interactions, treatments, outcomes, and ongoing care strategies to maintain clear communication and track progress.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary patient population consists of individuals with orthopedic conditions who are motivated to improve their quality of life. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Active and unrestricted Physical Therapist license in the state of New Jersey.
• Impeccable professional record with no disciplinary measures or board actions against your certification.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience is preferred in outpatient orthopedic settings, with a demonstrated ability to apply manual therapy techniques effectively.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, specifically familiarity with platforms like WebPT, is highly desirable.
• Experience in creating and implementing individualized exercise regimens that align with patient capabilities and recovery goals.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 annually, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your health and well-being.
