Work Environment

This full-time position is onsite at our rehabilitation facility located in Toms River, NJ. The successful candidate will work within a collaborative team that includes two physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA), all dedicated to providing exceptional care in a nurturing environment. Our facility is strategically designed to optimize patient experience, featuring comprehensive treatment areas and dedicated spaces for both individual and group therapies.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify and address individual patient goals and requirements effectively.
• Manage a caseload with an average of one patient per hour, ensuring personalized and focused treatment plans.
• Develop and implement comprehensive care plans that utilize a variety of orthopedic treatment techniques.
• Provide evidence-based therapies to enhance clients' range of motion, mobility, and overall physical performance.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques and develop tailored exercise protocols to support rehabilitation objectives.
• Educate patients on self-management strategies to enhance recovery and promote independence.
• Document treatment procedures and outcomes meticulously, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and specialists, to provide cohesive and comprehensive patient care.
• Motivate patients throughout their treatment process, encouraging adherence to prescribed therapy and lifestyle changes.
• Evaluate treatment progress regularly and adjust care plans as needed to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice primarily serves individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgical interventions, and chronic pain conditions. The patient demographic is diverse, including active athletes, seniors in need of strength rehabilitation, and individuals looking to regain mobility following surgery. Our goal is to empower every patient by creating individualized treatment plans that align with their specific rehabilitation needs and lifestyle goals.

Qualifications

• Possess a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Hold a valid New Jersey state license as a Physical Therapist.
• Demonstrate a clean professional record, free from any board or disciplinary actions.
• Exhibit proficiency in manual therapy techniques that enable comprehensive patient care.
• Have a strong foundation in developing and implementing effective exercise protocols.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, is preferred.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience working with diverse patient populations and addressing a wide range of orthopedic conditions.
• Strong communication skills to engage effectively with patients and their families, fostering a supportive environment.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
