Work Environment

As a member of our outpatient clinic, you will work in a collaborative and dynamic team environment, surrounded by experienced healthcare professionals dedicated to holistic patient care. Our clinic operates from Monday to Friday, with work hours set from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Engaging in onsite care, you'll utilize advanced rehabilitation equipment and techniques tailored to meet each patient's unique needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients' physical conditions and functional limitations to develop tailored treatment plans.
• Utilize expert knowledge in orthopedic physical therapy to guide interventions and therapies.
• Deliver hands-on physical therapy treatments, including manual therapy techniques, modalities, and therapeutic exercises.
• Encourage and motivate patients through their rehabilitation journey, ensuring a supportive atmosphere for recovery.
• Design and implement personalized fitness and wellness programs that align with individual patient goals.
• Collaborate closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to review patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation in compliance with clinic protocols and regulatory requirements, utilizing EMR software for efficient record-keeping.
• Evaluate treatment outcomes regularly to measure patient progress and apply evidence-based practices for continuous improvement.
• Advocate for non-surgical interventions and educate patients on reducing medication reliance.
• Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities to stay informed on the latest advancements in physical therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position will involve working with a diverse patient population ranging from athletes recovering from sports injuries to individuals managing chronic pain and post-operative rehabilitation. You will play a crucial role in addressing the unique challenges faced by each patient, adapting treatment methodologies to meet varying physical capabilities and health conditions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• Current and valid Physical Therapist license in New Jersey with a clean professional record.
• Demonstrable proficiency in manual therapy and knowledge of evidence-based orthopedic practices.
• Experience in developing and executing rehabilitation programs tailored to individual patient needs.
• Familiarity with EMR systems, especially Web PT, is advantageous for efficient patient documentation.
• Commitment to ongoing education and training in the field of physical therapy.

Preferred Experience

While all qualified applicants are encouraged to apply, candidates possessing prior clinical experience specifically in orthopedic outpatient therapy, sports rehabilitation, or related fields will be held in higher regard. Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary in the range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
