New Life Physical Therapy and Wellness Center is actively seeking a skilled and compassionate Full-Time Physical Therapist to join our dedicated team in Lakewood, New Jersey. We are a collaborative team that includes two physical therapists and a physical therapist assistant (PTA), all working together to prioritize patient well-being and effective rehabilitation.

Work Environment

This is an onsite position situated in a vibrant outpatient office that fosters a supportive and dynamic atmosphere. The work schedule is Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a consistent work-life balance while allowing ample time to engage meaningfully with patients. Our facility is equipped with the latest therapy modalities and tools, ensuring that our therapists can provide the highest standard of care and tailored treatment strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop individualized treatment plans that address specific patient needs, utilizing a variety of therapeutic techniques such as manual therapy and therapeutic exercises.
• Maintain a patient caseload of one individual per hour, ensuring personalized and focused attention to each client's rehabilitation journey.
• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess patients' mobility, functional capabilities, and overall health, enabling effective and targeted intervention strategies.
• Implement cost-effective therapeutic interventions that enhance clients' range of motion and promote independence in daily activities.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to reduce reliance on medication, offering informed non-surgical alternatives that align with patient goals.
• Motivate and encourage patients throughout their treatment process to maximize recovery and improve health outcomes.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care tailored to the holistic needs of each patient.
• Accurately document patient care activities and outcomes using electronic medical record (EMR) software, with a preference for WebPT.
• Evaluate and monitor patient progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Must possess a current license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the State of New Jersey.
• No history of board or disciplinary actions on your license.

• Proficient in designing and implementing comprehensive exercise programs tailored to individual needs.
• Experience with EMR software, especially WebPT, is advantageous.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working as a Physical Therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable and may be prioritized.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt treatment plans based on patient progress and feedback.
• Experience in patient education and wellness program development will be considered an asset.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
