Work Environment

This position is full-time and requires an on-site presence at our outpatient office, where you will interact with patients in a welcoming and well-equipped space. The standard work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a consistent routine that benefits both our staff and our patients. As a member of our team, you will collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals, ensuring a holistic approach to patient treatment and care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to understand each patient's unique goals and needs, establishing comprehensive care plans that address their specific rehabilitation requirements.
• Manage a patient load with a focus on individual attention, typically treating one patient per hour to ensure high-quality, personalized therapy sessions.
• Utilize evidence-based practices and proven interventions to implement treatment plans effectively, demonstrating your proficiency in manual therapy techniques and exercise program design.
• Monitor patient progress, evaluating treatment outcomes and making necessary adjustments to care plans based on observations and feedback.
• Encourage patients throughout the rehabilitation process, employing motivational strategies that foster compliance and enhance their overall physical capabilities.
• Document all therapy services provided in accordance with healthcare regulations and maintain open communication with patients regarding their progress and treatment modifications.
• Promote wellness initiatives by designing personalized fitness and lifestyle programs, helping to build strength, flexibility, coordination, and balance among our patient population.
• Collaborate with insurance companies and ensure that cost-effective treatment solutions are provided, reducing reliance on medications and exploring non-surgical alternatives whenever feasible.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy and a current, active Physical Therapist license in New Jersey.
• A minimum of two years of experience in orthopedic outpatient care is required, showcasing your ability to evaluate and treat a variety of musculoskeletal conditions.
• Demonstrated skill in manual therapy techniques and the design of effective exercise programs tailored to individual patient needs.
• Proficiency in utilizing Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software, such as WebPT, to streamline patient documentation and track progress.
• No disciplinary actions or board actions recorded on your Physical Therapist license.

Preferred Experience

While not required, preference will be given to candidates who have advanced training in specialized therapy techniques or have garnered experience in a sports medicine setting. Familiarity with telehealth practices may also be beneficial as we explore innovative solutions to enhance patient engagement.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
