Core Balance Physical Therapy Clinic is seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team on a full-time basis. Our state-of-the-art 5,000 square-foot sports medicine facility is designed to meet the needs of our diverse patient population, maximizing their recovery potential with advanced treatment techniques. Work Environment

This position is based onsite in our outpatient office, where you will work alongside a team of two fellow physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA). Our clinical environment is supportive and energetic, focused on optimizing patient outcomes through evidence-based practices and a commitment to continuous improvement. The work schedule is from Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, ensuring that you'll have a consistent routine while participating actively in our high-volume practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patients' functional capabilities and devise individualized treatment plans that address their specific goals and needs.
• Manage a patient load effectively, typically serving one patient per hour to maintain a high standard of care and personalized attention.
• Implement a variety of treatment modalities, including exercise therapy, manual therapy, and modalities such as ultrasound or electrical stimulation.
• Educate patients on their conditions, treatment options, and self-care strategies to promote independence and facilitate recovery.
• Track patient progress through regular evaluations and adjustments to treatment plans based on their response to therapy.
• Document all services provided in accordance with clinic standards, maintaining accurate patient records using EMR software, such as WebPT.
• Encourage a proactive approach to health and wellness through lifestyle modifications, exercise regimens, and routine follow-ups.
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to provide a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic primarily caters to patients with private medical insurance, focusing on individuals experiencing orthopedic injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, and chronic pain conditions. By delivering tailored treatment plans and rehabilitation strategies, you will play a pivotal role in empowering patients to achieve their personal health and mobility goals.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree and be licensed as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• No board actions or disciplinary actions should be recorded against your license.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and developing therapeutic exercise programs.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, is required for efficient documentation.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in orthopedic outpatient care is highly preferred, with a solid track record of successfully guiding patients through rehabilitation.
• Strong interpersonal skills to foster trusting relationships with patients, motivating them throughout their recovery journey.
• Ability to perform comprehensive evaluations and innovate in treatment approaches for diverse patient needs.

Compensation and Benefits
