Work Environment

You will work onsite at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Facility in Lakewood, where you will be part of a supportive team dedicated to improving patient outcomes. Our facility is equipped with the latest technology and therapeutic modalities, providing a conducive environment where both patients and clinicians can thrive. Your work schedule will typically be Monday through Friday, encompassing a 40-hour workweek, allowing for a balanced professional and personal life.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians and develop individualized treatment plans that align with their unique rehabilitation needs.
• Implement a variety of evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, modalities, and patient education.
• Demonstrate exceptional customer service by ensuring patient comfort and building rapport, contributing to the overall effectiveness of treatment.
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals, sharing insights and strategies to maximize each patient's recovery journey.
• Provide purposeful therapeutic care within our facility and, when necessary, conduct home visits using techniques designed to support patients' recovery in their living environment.
• Create a supportive atmosphere where you consult, educate, and mentor patients and their caregivers about their treatment plans and home exercises.
• Meet hospitalization and utilization goals while consistently striving to enhance the clinic's overall performance and success.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role allows you to work with various patient populations, including individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, pediatric patients, those suffering from neurological disorders, and athletes seeking rehabilitation from sports-related injuries. Each day presents a unique set of challenges and rewards, as you assist patients in regaining their independence and improving their quality of life.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an APTA or CAPTE-accredited physical therapy program.
• Holding a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy.
• A current state license to practice physical therapy.
• Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association is required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong computer proficiency.
• Ability to establish and nurture relationships with patients, fostering a supportive and encouraging recovery environment.
• A genuine passion for helping others and making a positive impact in their lives.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in physical therapy settings, particularly in outpatient rehabilitation.
• Familiarity with orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine care.
• Proficient in utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) systems for documentation and patient tracking.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to USD 120,000 per year, along with a comprehensive benefits package, which includes:
