Work Environment

As an onsite Physical Therapist, you will work in a modern rehabilitation clinic equipped with state-of-the-art technology and resources. The rehabilitation center is designed to be welcoming and accessible, ensuring that patients feel comfortable during their visits. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team that includes Occupational Therapists, Speech-Language Pathologists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver holistic care for our diverse patient population.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's specific needs, focusing on enhancing mobility, strength, and overall functionality.
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, stretches, and activities aimed at facilitating their recovery and alleviating pain.
• Educate patients about proper body mechanics, effective exercise techniques, and home exercise programs that can aid in their rehabilitation process.
• Administer treatment modalities such as electrical stimulation, ultrasound therapy, and heat/cold therapy to support healing.
• Monitor and document each patient's progress regularly, including tracking improvements in range of motion, strength, and functional capabilities.
• Organize and prepare treatment areas, ensuring that all necessary equipment and supplies are readily available for therapy sessions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to enhance patient care and ensure the best possible outcomes.
• Provide emotional support to patients, fostering an encouraging atmosphere that motivates them throughout their rehabilitation journey.
• Adhere to ethical standards and professional protocols, ensuring patient confidentiality, rights, and safety at all times.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will involve working with a diverse range of patients including individuals recovering from surgeries, athletes seeking rehabilitation after injuries, elderly patients requiring specialized geriatric care, and children needing pediatric therapy. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.

Preferred Experience

A minimum of one year of experience in a clinical setting is required. Prior experience with a variety of rehabilitation disciplines, particularly in outpatient facilities, will be an advantage as it equips candidates with a broad understanding of different therapeutic approaches.

Compensation and Benefits
