Work Environment

This position requires you to work onsite at our outpatient office in Lakewood, New Jersey. The therapeutic environment is designed to foster healing and wellness, featuring advanced equipment and a supportive atmosphere. Operating hours are Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced professional lifestyle while doing meaningful work within the community.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to determine patient needs and formulate personalized treatment plans that address rehabilitation goals and objectives.
• Manage a caseload of one patient per hour, ensuring efficient use of time while providing high-quality and tailored care.
• Implement a variety of manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercises to enhance patient mobility and function.
• Document all patient interactions and treatments comprehensively in accordance with professional standards and regulations, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary based on observed outcomes or patient feedback.
• Educate and motivate patients regarding their conditions and treatment plans to encourage active participation in their rehabilitation process.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals—including orthopedic surgeons and primary care providers—to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
• Promote preventive care by guiding clients toward healthier lifestyle choices focused on improving strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our facility primarily serves individuals requiring orthopedic rehabilitation. Patients may range from post-surgical recovery to injury rehabilitation, with a focus on enhancing functional mobility and improving the quality of life. You will have the opportunity to work with diverse clients, each presenting unique cases that offer both challenges and rewarding experiences.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required.
• Active and unrestricted physical therapy license in New Jersey, with a clean record free of disciplinary actions.
• Strong foundational knowledge in musculoskeletal anatomy and physiology, enabling effective treatment planning and execution.
• Commitment to continuous professional development, including staying current with industry best practices and emerging therapies.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software platforms such as WebPT enhances workflow and documentation.
• Demonstrated success in developing and implementing personalized exercise regimens that encourage patient engagement and recovery progress.

Compensation and Benefits

The Salary Range for this position is between USD 100,000 and 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
