We are equipped with a state-of-the-art 5000 square foot sports medicine facility designed to provide top-notch therapy services. Our team consists of skilled physical therapists and a physical therapist assistant (PTA), committed to delivering evidence-based treatment options. We primarily serve individuals with private medical insurance, ensuring they receive the highest standard of care in a supportive environment.

Work Environment

You will be working onsite at our cutting-edge rehabilitation center, collaborating closely with fellow physical therapists and healthcare professionals. The facility is designed to foster an encouraging atmosphere where team members can share knowledge and strategies to provide optimal patient care. The role involves a structured work schedule, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance with hours from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify patient needs and develop individualized care plans tailored to their specific conditions.
• Efficiently manage a patient load of one patient per hour, delivering high-quality, focused care throughout each session.
• Utilize diverse treatment modalities, including manual therapy techniques and exercise regimens, to enhance client mobility and functional abilities.
• Document all patient interactions and progress meticulously, ensuring compliance with both clinic protocols and regulatory requirements.
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and specialists, to provide a comprehensive approach to patient treatment.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary, promoting ongoing communication for effective care management.
• Motivate patients consistently, driving them toward their rehabilitation goals and improving overall wellness.
• Promote health and wellness by educating patients about lifestyle changes and exercise techniques.
• Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current on industry trends and treatment methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on orthopedic patients, including those recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic conditions affecting their movement and function. Your interactions will mainly involve patients with private medical insurance, allowing for a personalized therapeutic approach tailored to their specific rehabilitation needs.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• A valid and clean license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• No history of board actions or disciplinary measures against the license.
• Strong understanding and capability in implementing manual therapy techniques.
• Proficiency in utilizing Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software platforms, such as WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated expertise in developing and administering exercise programs tailored to various conditions.
• A solid track record of improving patient outcomes through innovative and evidence-based treatment methods.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
