Active Motion Physical Therapy Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate full-time Physical Therapist to join our esteemed team at our orthopedic outpatient rehabilitation center in Lakewood, New Jersey. This role is essential for helping our patients recover mobility and enhance their functional abilities, empowering them to achieve their personal best. As a Physical Therapist, you will engage in a collaborative approach to treatment, focusing on the promotion, prevention, diagnosis, treatment, intervention, and rehabilitation of our patients.

Our practice specializes in orthopedic care and caters predominantly to patients with private medical insurance. With a team currently comprising two skilled Physical Therapists and one Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), we emphasize a supportive and innovative environment that champions the health and wellness of our patients.

Work Environment

This full-time position is located onsite at our lakeside rehabilitation center, which is designed specifically for outpatient orthopedic therapy. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm, allowing for a balance between professional engagement and personal time. Our facility is equipped with advanced rehabilitation tools and technologies to facilitate effective therapy sessions.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to identify their objectives and requirements in various healthcare contexts.
• Manage a patient caseload efficiently, typically handling one patient per hour, ensuring optimal focus and individualized care.
• Formulate and implement tailored care plans utilizing a diverse range of treatment techniques, emphasizing manual therapy and exercise programming.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to provide cost-effective interventions that enhance clients' range of motion and mobility, reducing reliance on medications and surgeries.
• Document all patient interactions comprehensively, maintaining accurate records of care provision and treatment progress.
• Continuously evaluate treatment effectiveness and maintain open communication with patients about their progress and any adjustments needed in their care plans.
• Encourage and motivate patients throughout their recovery process, using positive reinforcement to enhance their functional capabilities.
• Promote lifestyle changes that improve strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination in clients, fostering an independent and active community.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the ability to develop and implement effective exercise regimens.
• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) software, particularly WebPT, is strongly preferred to ensure efficient documentation and patient management.

• Experience in developing comprehensive care plans and personalized wellness programs, allowing for tailored treatment approaches.

Compensation and Benefits
