Work Environment

This role is primarily based in our outpatient office, fostering an energetic and supportive work atmosphere. As part of our multidisciplinary team, you will collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans. The office is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities to support our therapists and provide optimal care to our patients. Staff works Monday through Friday, allowing a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at High Energy Body & Home Care, your responsibilities will include:

• Developing and directing physical therapy treatment plans tailored to the individual needs of each client, aimed at preventing disability, managing pain, and restoring optimal muscle function.
• Overseeing and mentoring Physical Therapy Assistants to ensure the delivery of high-quality care in alignment with established treatment protocols.
• Conducting detailed functional assessments through diagnostic tests to evaluate each client's physical capabilities and limitations.
• Assessing clients' home environments and providing recommendations for modifications that promote independence and enhance rehabilitation outcomes.
• Delivering therapeutic exercises and physical agents treatments, such as traction and massage, while motivating clients through functional activity instructions.
• Fitting and adjusting orthotic and prosthetic devices in consultation with physicians, ensuring each client receives customized support.
• Participating in developing, reviewing, and updating patient care plans while documenting progress consistently with accurate clinical records.
• Facilitating transparent communication among the interdisciplinary team, case managers, and other stakeholders to enhance overall client care.
• Educating clients and their families regarding physical therapy devices and overall treatment regimens while engaging them actively in their rehabilitation process.
• Conducting ongoing evaluations during therapy sessions and making necessary adjustments to enhance patient comfort and effectiveness.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will involve working with a diverse population requiring different levels of support, from young adults recovering from sports injuries to seniors addressing mobility concerns. Qualifications

To succeed in this role, candidates must possess:

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• A minimum of one year of experience in a physical therapy setting, with a focus on acute and home care.
• A current physical therapy license in good standing in the state of New Jersey.
• Current CPR certification and a commitment to clinical excellence and patient care.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions against challenging circumstances.
• Exceptional communication skills for engaging with patients, families, and other team members.
• A positive attitude and the capacity to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience

While a year of experience is required, candidates with previous experience in homecare settings or outpatient clinics will be highly regarded. Familiarity with regulations from federal and state governing bodies is also advantageous, as is a track record of innovative approaches to patient care.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this full-time position ranges from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, reflective of experience and demonstrated capabilities.
