Key Responsibilities

• Direct comprehensive physical therapy treatment plans that focus on pain relief, muscle function restoration, and disability prevention, in alignment with each patient's individual care plan.
• Evaluate patients' functional abilities using diagnostic tests to guide treatment strategies effectively.
• Conduct ongoing assessments of patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to meet evolving needs.
• Oversee the work of Physical Therapy Assistants, ensuring that therapy is administered according to established protocols and standards.
• Administer various therapeutic techniques including manual therapy, functional exercises, and application of physical agents such as traction and massage.
• Evaluate and recommend modifications for prosthetic and orthotic devices to enhance patient mobility and comfort.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation, including evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
• Collaborate as part of an interdisciplinary team to formulate and review holistic care plans, participating actively in case conferences.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment procedures, care plans, and the use of therapeutic equipment.
• Stay updated with continuous professional development to enhance expertise and quality of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our physical therapists work primarily with adult patients seeking rehabilitation following surgery, injuries, or chronic conditions. We focus on individualizing treatment to each patient's unique circumstances, ensuring they receive the most effective care for their specific needs. We prioritize a patient-centered approach and emphasize empowering our clients towards achieving independence in their daily activities.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid Physical Therapist license in good standing in New Jersey.
• Current CPR certification and a valid driver's license with ongoing automobile insurance.
• Exceptional interpersonal communication skills fostering effective patient and family engagement.
• A proactive approach in making clinically sound decisions and the ability to uphold a commitment to excellence in therapy.

Preferred Experience

We prefer candidates with at least two years of professional physical therapy experience in outpatient, home care, or acute settings. Familiarity with evidence-based practices and regulatory compliance standards will enhance your contribution in this position.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 110,000 annually, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package.
