Work Environment

This role is based onsite in a home care environment in Freehold, NJ. You will engage directly with patients in their homes, fostering a personalized and comfortable atmosphere for rehabilitation. Our clinic operates Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, providing a structured schedule that promotes work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional physical therapy services to adult patients, focusing specifically on those aged 40-65, targeting orthotic and functional rehabilitation.
• Create and implement customized treatment plans aimed at maximizing patient mobility, strength, and overall functionality.
• Utilize hands-on therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and educational consultations to achieve the best patient outcomes.
• Coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team, including collaborating with medical doctors (MDs), occupational therapists (OTs), chiropractors (DCs), nurse practitioners (NPs), and physician assistants (PAs) to ensure a comprehensive treatment approach.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of patient sessions using the CureMD Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system, ensuring accurate patient history and treatment progress.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on treating adult patients within the age range of 40-65, who often present with various orthopedic conditions. This demographic may include individuals recovering from surgeries, managing chronic pain conditions, or seeking rehabilitation after injuries. Understanding their unique needs will be essential for customizing their treatment effectively.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required, with a Master's degree preferred.
• An active or eligible New Jersey physical therapist license is mandatory for this role.
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care are essential.

Preferred Experience

• While outpatient experience is preferred, we welcome applicants who are passionate about further developing their skills in this area.
• Experience with electronic medical records, especially using CureMD, is advantageous but not essential.

Compensation and Benefits
