Work Environment

Our outpatient clinic, located in Avenel, New Jersey, is designed to facilitate an effective therapy experience. The work setting is onsite, ensuring that you have immediate access to state-of-the-art equipment and a collaborative workspace with fellow healthcare providers. The clinic operates Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, offering a structured work schedule that promotes work-life balance while allowing for consistent patient interaction. Our home care service further enables you to extend your expertise to patients in their own environments, enhancing the accessibility of rehabilitation services.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients, developing personalized care plans that align with their unique therapeutic goals.
• Implement evidence-based interventions and utilize a variety of treatment techniques, ensuring a holistic approach to patient care.
• Educate patients on their conditions and empower them through tailored treatment programs that include exercise regimens, stretches, and manual therapies.
• Monitor and document patient progress accurately while adapting treatment plans as needed to ensure continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians and other healthcare professionals, to ensure cohesive care delivery.
• Inspire patients throughout their rehabilitation journey by providing motivation and encouragement.
• Evaluate treatment outcomes and modify approaches when necessary, focusing on effective pain management and mobility enhancement.
• Promote overall wellness by advising on lifestyle changes, strength training, flexibility expansion, and balance improvement.
• Document all services provided through effective use of electronic medical records (EMR), particularly Web PT.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist with our organization, you will primarily work with patients from diverse backgrounds facing orthopedic challenges, sports injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, and chronic pain conditions. You will be integral to shaping their recovery journeys, providing therapeutic interventions that foster not just recovery, but long-term wellness and functional independence.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Possession of a valid and active Physical Therapist license, with no history of sanctions or board proceedings.
• Exceptional skill in implementing a range of manual therapy modalities.
• Strong ability to design and execute effective exercise programs tailored to individual patient needs.
• Proficient in utilizing EMR systems and tools such as Web PT for accurate documentation and patient management.
• Continued professional development and deep knowledge of contemporary physical therapy practices.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in outpatient orthopedic settings, particularly in sports medicine.
• Demonstrated success in developing and implementing fitness and wellness programs.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a proven track record of building rapport with patients and colleagues.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 – 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
