Work Environment

As a Physical Therapist at Advantage Muscle Care, you will work onsite in the comfort of patients' homes, allowing you to deliver tailored rehabilitation services in a familiar environment. Key Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities as an Orthopedic Physical Therapist will include:

• Conducting comprehensive evaluations to develop individualized treatment plans based on physician referrals.
• Implementing effective therapy techniques that promote healing and restoration of function as per the established plan of care.
• Utilizing evidence-based practices to offer specialized care for various conditions, while tracking patient progress and outcomes.
• Providing educational support to patients and caregivers to empower them in their recovery journey.
• Maintaining open and professional communication with patients, caregivers, and the broader healthcare team to ensure holistic care.
• Meeting established utilization goals and contributing to business objectives that help enhance service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work predominantly with orthopedic patients, addressing musculoskeletal injuries and rehabilitation needs. Your caseload may also include individuals dealing with pediatric, neurologic, and sports-related conditions, allowing for diverse clinical exposure and professional growth. By fostering strong therapeutic relationships with patients, you will guide them toward achieving their functional goals and improving their overall quality of life.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid State License in Physical Therapy to practice in New Jersey.
• A minimum of two years of experience working in a clinical physical therapy setting, with a focus on orthopedic issues preferred.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a capacity for empathy and understanding.
• Proficient in basic computer skills, including word processing and data management.

Preferred Experience

Experience in home care or community health settings is highly desirable. Additionally, familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems can enhance patient documentation and streamline care coordination within the organization.
