Work Environment

This position is primarily onsite and operates within a collaborative and interdisciplinary outpatient clinic environment. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to establish personalized treatment plans based on their specific functional requirements and rehabilitation goals.
• Implement evidence-based physical therapy modalities tailored to each patient's needs, which may include therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and patient education.
• Manage a manageable patient caseload, allowing dedicated time for one-on-one interaction to foster trust, motivation, and a positive therapeutic relationship.
• Continuously assess and document patient progress, adapting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery and therapeutic outcomes.
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare providers, including physicians and occupational therapists, to provide comprehensive care and address any multidisciplinary needs of the patients.
• Stay abreast of the latest research and techniques in physical therapy to ensure that you deliver the highest standard of care and utilizing cost-effective solutions whenever possible.
• Inspire patients to remain engaged in their rehabilitation journeys, motivating them to adhere to prescribed exercise regimens and lifestyle modifications.
• Maintain precise and thorough documentation of all patient interactions, treatments, and progress using EMR systems, particularly focusing on Web PT.
• Educate patients on preventive measures and self-management strategies to optimize their health post-treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role focuses on a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgery, sports injuries, chronic pain, and other musculoskeletal issues. You will not only rehabilitate your patients but will also provide them with the skills to manage their conditions effectively and promote a healthier lifestyle.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution is required.
• An active Physical Therapist license in the state of New Jersey, with a clean history free of sanctions or disciplinary actions.
• Demonstrated expertise in manual therapy techniques and orthopedic outpatient care, supported by professional experience.
• Proficient in developing customized exercise programs that effectively address patient capabilities and recovery phases.
• Experience with EMR software usage, particularly Web PT, to ensure accurate documentation and streamlined patient care processes.
• Strong background in the latest physical therapy methodologies and treatment strategies grounded in research.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of clinical experience as a Physical Therapist, preferably in an outpatient setting focused on orthopedic and sports medicine.
• Previous experience working in home care settings is a plus, which may enhance your adaptability to diverse patient needs and environments.
• Additional certifications in specialized physical therapy techniques will be considered an advantage.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to USD 120,000 annually based on experience and qualifications. Our compensation package also includes comprehensive health benefits, paid time off, and continuing education opportunities to support your professional development.
