Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conducting thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians to establish individualized treatment plans tailored to specific needs.
• Implementing and modifying therapeutic procedures based on patient progress and feedback, ensuring alignment with the adjusting medical plan.
• Working collaboratively with a broad team of healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes that leverage interdisciplinary insights and enhance overall care.
• Providing patient education, teaching them exercises and rehabilitation techniques suitable for at-home practice, while also educating caregivers as needed.
• Tracking and documenting patient progress in compliance with regulatory requirements, demonstrating results to inform future treatment strategies.
• Maintaining excellent customer service standards to ensure a positive, supportive environment for both patients and their families.
• Achieving set utilization goals and contributing to the clinic's business objectives through effective caseload management and patient turnover.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will treat a diverse patient population encompassing individuals of all ages with various conditions, including orthopedic injuries, neurological disorders, pediatric concerns, and sports-related issues. Your ability to adjust techniques and treatments to cater to the unique needs of each patient will be pivotal in fostering meaningful connections and helping clients achieve their recovery goals.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA or CAPTE-accredited program is required.
• A current State License to practice Physical Therapy in New Jersey.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, vital for effective patient interactions and documentation.
• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMRs) and word processing software.
• Ability to establish rapport and build lasting relationships with patients and their families, facilitating ongoing engagement in treatment plans.

Preferred Experience
