Work Environment

In this onsite role, you will collaborate within an engaging team atmosphere designed to promote professional growth and support high-quality patient care. The usual workweek spans from 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday to Friday, allowing for balanced work-life integration while focusing on patient rehabilitation. Our rehabilitation facility emphasizes a culture of continuous improvement and learning, ensuring that every team member feels valued and productive.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized care by assessing each patient's unique needs and creating customized treatment plans that align with their individual rehabilitation goals.
• Manage a reasonable caseload to ensure quality service, dedicating appropriate time and attention to each patient throughout their treatment process.
• Employ your expertise in orthopedic outpatient care to implement effective, evidence-based interventions that will enhance patients' motion and mobility.
• Prioritize non-surgical treatment options, providing education around alternatives to medication and promoting proactive health choices.
• Develop comprehensive fitness and wellness programs designed to specifically address each patient's physical condition and lifestyle aspirations.
• Engage and encourage patients throughout their therapy sessions, helping them overcome challenges and celebrate milestones in their recovery journey.
• Monitor and assess treatment progress, adjusting care plans as needed to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation of all interventions, progress notes, and patient communications using electronic health record systems, with a preference for Web PT.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide an integrated approach to patient care, sharing insights and treatment strategies that contribute to a holistic recovery experience.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population includes individuals recovering from musculoskeletal injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. The outpatient model suits patients who seek to improve their functionality without the need for extensive hospitalization, allowing them to reclaim their health and independence in a supportive and encouraging environment.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program is required.
• An active and unblemished Physical Therapist license in New Jersey, free from sanctions or board proceedings.
• A deep understanding of various manual therapy techniques and the capability to implement them skillfully.
• Proven experience in delivering successful exercise regimens and patient-specific interventions.
• Familiarity with technology and software, particularly in using EMR platforms such as Web PT, to ensure precise documentation of treatment plans and patient progress.
• Current knowledge of best practices and advancements in physical therapy, contributing to patient-centered care.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working in an outpatient setting, particularly specializing in orthopedic and sports therapy.
• A background in creating multidisciplinary care approaches and collaborating with other healthcare providers.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this role ranges from $100,000 to $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
