Work Environment

You will work in an onsite outpatient clinic where collaboration with team members and patients is encouraged. Our clinic operates Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, fostering a balanced work schedule. You will engage directly with patients in a welcoming and supportive environment, equipped with the latest rehabilitation tools and therapies to assist in their recovery.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate individual patient conditions to develop customized treatment plans that align with their specific recovery goals.
• Administer evidence-based therapy interventions, employing a range of manual therapy techniques and exercise prescriptions to enhance mobility and functional abilities.
• Manage a caseload that allows for thorough patient interaction, facilitating deeper relationships and better treatment outcomes.
• Document treatment protocols and patient progress accurately in our electronic medical records (EMR) system, specifically using Web PT.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians and occupational therapists, to ensure an integrated approach to patient care.
• Motivate and inspire patients through their rehabilitation journey, promoting adherence to prescribed exercises and wellness practices.
• Continuously re-evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize results.
• Lead fitness and wellness programs designed to improve strength, flexibility, and overall coordination.
• Conduct educational sessions for patients on maintaining a healthy lifestyle and injury prevention strategies.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• A valid, active Physical Therapist license in New Jersey, free of sanctions or board proceedings.
• Proficiency in various manual therapy techniques and rehabilitation strategies.
• Strong background in developing effective exercise programs tailored to the rehabilitation needs of patients.
• Competence in utilizing EMR software, particularly Web PT, for precise record-keeping and patient management.
• In-depth knowledge of contemporary physical therapy methodologies supported by scientific research.

Preferred Experience

• Health-related experience in outpatient settings is preferred, with a focus on orthopedic rehabilitation.
• A proven track record of developing successful treatment plans and obtaining satisfying patient outcomes.
• Experience collaborating within a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient recovery.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
