Open Play Physical Therapy is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled full-time Orthopedic Physical Therapist (PT) to join our dynamic team in South River, New Jersey. Work Environment

This full-time position is primarily onsite, where you will collaborate in a close-knit team environment that currently includes two physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA). Your weekdays will consist of regular operating hours, Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing you to maintain a work-life balance while serving our patient community. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify and address each patient's goals, needs, and limitations.
• Manage a patient caseload, seeing one individual per hour, to deliver focused and effective therapy sessions.
• Design and implement personalized treatment plans that incorporate diverse therapeutic techniques aimed at improving mobility and overall function.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques to enhance patient outcomes, alleviating pain and facilitating recovery.
• Provide evidence-based treatments that promote independence and reduce reliance on medications or surgical interventions.
• Document all patient care services and progress accurately to ensure compliance and clarity in treatment protocols.
• Develop tailored fitness and wellness programs to empower patients in maintaining long-term health and fitness.
• Maintain open communication with patients, motivating them throughout their recovery to encourage active participation in their rehabilitation process.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and specialists, to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
• Evaluate treatment outcomes regularly and adjust care plans as necessary to ensure optimal patient progression.

Our practice primarily focuses on orthopedics, catering to a diverse population of patients recovering from injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, chronic pain conditions, and mobility challenges. Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required, along with a valid New Jersey state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• Successful candidates must demonstrate a clean professional background, free from any disciplinary actions.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and experience in developing and executing tailored exercise protocols are essential.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, will be advantageous.

Preferred Experience

While we require at least two years of relevant clinical experience in orthopedic outpatient settings, experience with diverse patient demographics and specialized treatment protocols is a highly regarded asset. Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 120,000 to 140,000 annually, commensurate with experience, alongside a comprehensive benefits package.
