Work Environment

This position is based onsite at our outpatient office in Sayreville, where you will work alongside two fellow physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant (PTA). You will enjoy an engaging and collaborative environment, where patient outcomes are prioritized, and professional growth is encouraged. Our practice operates Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, offering you a consistent weekday schedule without weekend hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to identify their goals and requirements, ensuring personalized care.
• Manage an efficient caseload of patients, dedicating one hour per individual to provide focused and individualized care.
• Create and implement detailed care plans that utilize various treatment techniques aimed at improving patient mobility and preventing future injuries.
• Employ manual therapy techniques and develop exercise protocols specifically designed to enhance range of motion and functional abilities.
• Optimize patient outcomes by minimizing reliance on medications and exploring alternative options to surgeries.
• Continuously motivate and support patients throughout their rehabilitation journey to achieve their desired outcomes.
• Document all patient services and progress to comply with legal and ethical standards while maintaining clear communication.
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and specialists, to deliver cohesive, comprehensive care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic primarily serves individuals with private medical insurance navigating orthopedic challenges, including post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain management. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, tailoring your approaches to meet their unique needs and promoting their physical health through targeted intervention strategies.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• A valid New Jersey license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• A clean professional record with no disciplinary history from licensing boards.
• Strong expertise in manual therapy techniques and application of evidence-based treatments.
• Exceptional skills in developing and executing individualized exercise programs.
• Competency in utilizing electronic medical records (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, for effective patient documentation and management.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of relevant physical therapy experience is required, candidates with a background specifically in orthopedic outpatient settings will be prioritized. Experience in sports rehabilitation or advanced manual therapy certifications will be considered advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers an attractive salary range of $120,000 to $140,000 annually, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
