Open Play Physical Therapy is seeking a full-time Orthopedic Physical Therapist (PT) to join our dedicated team in Highland Park, New Jersey. We pride ourselves on our state-of-the-art, 5,000 square foot sports medicine facility, equipped with advanced modalities and innovative therapeutic tools. Our focused, collaborative team of two experienced physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant prioritize providing high-quality services in a supportive environment.

Work Environment

This full-time position requires you to work onsite in our Highland Park facility from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM. Our workplace is designed to foster professional growth and teamwork, encouraging open communication and cooperation among colleagues. Each therapist manages a manageable caseload of one patient per hour, enabling personalized attention and thorough care for each individual. Key Responsibilities

• Assess patient goals and needs through comprehensive evaluations, ensuring tailored treatment protocols.
• Manage therapy sessions for one patient at a time, providing focused and individualized care.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to develop and implement cost-effective treatment strategies that enhance mobility and range of motion.
• Communicate effectively with patients to encourage participation and motivation throughout their rehabilitation process.
• Design and implement personalized fitness and wellness programs that support patients in achieving their health objectives.
• Conduct regular evaluations to monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of all patient care activities, ensuring continuity of care.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive treatment plans and ensure the highest standard of care.
• Educate patients about alternative therapies to reduce reliance on medications and prevent surgical interventions.
• Use manual therapy techniques and exercise protocols to facilitate effective rehabilitation outcomes.

Our patient base primarily consists of individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, and chronic pain conditions. Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) and a valid New Jersey Physical Therapist license are required.
• A clean professional record with no board or disciplinary actions against your license.
• Strong competence in manual therapy methods, exercise protocol design, and implementation.
• Familiarity with EMR systems, particularly WebPT, to document patient care efficiently.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and support patients effectively.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting, focusing on rehabilitation.
• Proven history of successful patient outcomes and satisfaction in previous roles.
• Experience with sports medicine or post-operative recovery is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of $120,000 to $140,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
