Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough examinations and evaluations of patients with orthopedic conditions to develop targeted treatment plans.
• Implement and monitor rehabilitation programs tailored to individual patient needs and recovery goals.
• Provide comprehensive consultations to healthcare providers regarding the continuum of care for patients.
• Engage in effective communication with patients and families to educate on treatment processes and progress, ensuring alignment in discharge planning.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient evaluations, treatments, and progress in accordance with established regulations and professional standards.
• Participate actively in interdisciplinary team meetings and collaborate with physicians, rehabilitation aides, and other healthcare professionals for coordinated care.
• Supervise and mentor support staff, ensuring adherence to treatment protocols and quality of care.
• Contribute to community outreach efforts and participate in continuing education initiatives to stay abreast of best practices in orthopedic physical therapy.
• Drive departmental leadership functions such as quality improvement, marketing initiatives, and resource management.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, joint replacements, sports injuries, and other musculoskeletal disorders. Our patient demographic ranges from adolescents to seniors, each presenting unique recovery challenges and goals. Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy is required.
• Must possess a valid State License in Physical Therapy.
• BLS certification is mandatory.
