Work Environment

The position is located onsite at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center in South River, NJ. Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at Arrowhead PT Services, you will:

• Direct personalized physical therapy treatment plans to prevent disability and alleviate pain, enhancing patients' functional capabilities.
• Evaluate patients' levels of function using diagnostic and prognostic assessments related to muscles, nerves, and joints.
• Recommend modifications to the home environment to optimize rehabilitation outcomes.
• Deliver physical therapy services as prescribed, including manual therapy techniques, exercise instruction, and pain management modalities such as massage and traction.
• Engage with and directly oversee Physical Therapy Assistants, ensuring they comply with the established Plan of Care.
• Continuously observe and document patient progress, reporting any changes to the healthcare team, and adjusting the care plan as necessary.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, contributing to collaborative treatment planning and evaluation.
• Guide and educate patients and their families about the use and care of therapeutic devices, empowering them in their recovery journey.
• Complete necessary documentation promptly, including assessments, summaries, and treatment plans, adhering to regulatory standards.
• Perform functional assessments in line with client needs and adjust approaches as required, engaging with community resources for additional support.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily involves working with a diverse patient population, including those recovering from orthopedic surgeries, strokes, chronic pain, and mobility challenges. Your expertise will ensure that each patient receives tailored interventions aimed at restoring function and improving quality of life. Qualifications

The ideal candidate must possess:

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current and valid Physical Therapy licensure in the state of New Jersey.
• Current CPR certification.
• A valid driver's license with automobile insurance.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
