Licensed Orthopedic Physical Therapist - Full-Time Position

This full-time role involves providing high-quality care to patients in our outpatient facility, where you will be integral in evaluating, treating, and rehabilitating individuals with orthopedic conditions. Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of patients with orthopedic issues to develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic interventions and modalities, continually monitoring patient progress and adjusting treatment strategies as needed.
• Educate patients and their families about the rehabilitation process and self-management techniques to promote recovery.
• Document all patient interactions thoroughly, maintaining accurate records that reflect treatment modalities, progress, and outcomes.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to discuss patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress updates.
• Participate in departmental leadership activities, including community outreach and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
• Supervise and mentor support staff such as physical therapy aides and interns, contributing to their professional development.
• Stay current with best practices in physical therapy through ongoing education and participation in training sessions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patients you will care for primarily suffer from various orthopedic conditions, ranging from post-surgical rehabilitation to sports injuries and chronic pain syndromes. You will work with a diverse population, including individuals of all ages—from children to older adults—highlighting the importance of culturally sensitive practices in your approach to care.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required for this position.
• Must hold an active state license to practice physical therapy in New Jersey.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and team members.
• Proficient in clinical documentation and familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems is preferred.

Preferred Experience

While a Doctorate in Physical Therapy is required, preference will be given to candidates with previous experience in outpatient orthopedic settings. Experience in manual therapy techniques and knowledge of various therapeutic modalities will be beneficial in providing the best outcomes for our patients.

Compensation and Benefits

Ascove Injury Prevention Rehab Center offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience.
