Work Environment

This position is based in our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center in Plainfield, NJ. As a full-time member of our team, you will work Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM. Our facility is equipped with advanced therapeutic tools and technology, including EMR software such as WebPT, which streamlines documentation and enhances patient management. You will work onsite with a variety of healthcare professionals in a dynamic, patient-centered environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, utilizing physical examination techniques and patient history to identify functional deficits.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that address individual patient goals and conditions.
• Provide hands-on therapy to enhance patients' mobility, strength, and overall physical function, aiming to reduce pain and improve quality of life.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and modalities to promote healing and recovery.
• Maintain a manageable caseload, typically scheduling appointments for one patient per hour to ensure high-quality, personalized care.
• Document and track patient progress accurately within our electronic medical records system, ensuring compliance with regulatory and best practice standards.
• Educate patients and their families about rehabilitation protocols and preventive strategies to enhance long-term health outcomes.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and address any evolving patient needs effectively.
• Engage in continuous professional development and attend staff meetings to discuss ongoing treatment efficacy and patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patients typically include individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. You will take an active role in promoting recovery and rehabilitation strategies targeting both active individuals and those managing longstanding mobility issues. Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A current, unrestricted license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• No history of board or disciplinary actions on your professional license.
• Demonstrated proficiency in applying manual therapy techniques and designing effective exercise programs.
• Ability to utilize EMR software effectively for patient documentation and scheduling.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Proven track record of successful patient outcomes through effective therapy interventions.
• Experience in collaborating with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to enhance patient care.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
